Project Manager for UK Leading FTSE 100 Organisation. As the number one provider of business process outsourcing in the UK, we provide highly renowned services and solutions to a variety of sectors. One of the businesses we specialise in is within the translation and interpreting marketplace, and as a result of growth we are currently looking for a Project Manager. The successful applicant will be in charge of the efficient and effective project management of customer and internal translation projects. Key to this role is the delivery of projects to meet or exceed quality and cost targets and to meet end customer expectations Our Project Manager position is based within in our Commercial Services department. The aim of the role is to provide the best quality delivery of our translation services to all of our customers. This involves the quotation processing, customer information management, maintenance of customer records and ranges from small scale project enquiries through to high level project management, quality assurance and everything in between. Responsibilities include: * Management of multiple projects to ensure quality on time deliveries * Detailed reporting, including risk, opportunity and issue logs, quality metrics as well as status reporting * Finding and assigning suitable resources to the projects and management of those resources to ensure successful project completion and achievement of supplier cost targets * Delivering the translated documents to the client’s expected standard of quality * Ensuring that clients receive their projects within the given deadline * Maintaining project and system files correctly * Helpingto guide and assist other Project Managers and where required provide cover for absent colleagues. * Supporting our Sales Operation with assistance in pre and post sales calls * Ensuring that procedures are adhered to for each project * Supporting the team by handling customer enquiries, urgent projects and taking part in team process improvement activities * Keeping your own knowledge up to date by maintaining an interest in the Translation industry through reading and online seminars Essential Skills: * Good industry knowledge * Excellent project management skills * Good time management skills * Organisational skills * Good understanding of File Types * Good IT skills * Good communications skills including customer stakeholder management * A commitment to quality * Excellent command of English, spoken and written Desirable Skills: * Translation and Localization Industry Experience * BA in Translation Studies or equivalent * Prince 2 Practitioner The successful applicant will be subject to relevant reference checksCapita Resourcing welcome applications from all suitably qualified people regardless of gender, race, disability, age or sexual orientation.
